The celebration of Christmas has changed over the intervening
centuries since settlement. Early traditions brought from Spain to the New
World were pure-blooded, but later acriollaron and each region overlaid with
its own local flavor. However, religious devotions, songs, prayers in honor of
the Holy Family, continue celebrating the miracle of Bethlehem.
